Nursing Home Ministry

Our mission:
To go and spread the word of the Lord to those that cannot come to us. We are there to provide a regular service and caring ministry to those in the nursing home environment. We are called to serve.

Acts 20:35 - I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

Our Services are the following:

1st Sunday of every month - BrennField Nursing Center in Orrville, Ohio
Service Time: 3:15PM
2nd Sunday of the month - Meadow View Care Center in Seville, Ohio
Service Time: 2:00PM
3rd Sunday of the month - Orrville Pointe Nursing Center in Orrville, Ohio
Service Time: 2:00PM
4th Sunday of the month - Altercare Nursing Center in Wadsworth, Ohio
Service Time: 2:30PM

Caring Cans for Christ

The Caring Cans for Christ food distribution ministry has a desire to reach out to the local communities in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Caring Cans for Christ tries to lessen the financial burden of those we reach by providing them with meals for their families, sometimes as much as a week's worth of groceries for a family of four. We also offer each recipient of groceries a clear and simple presentation of the Gospel with the intent to see them saved by God's marvelous grace. Our ministry has been privileged to serve nearly five hundred families since its conception in August of 2009. This outreach is made possible through the generous support of the Canaan Free Will Baptist Church and its devoted family and friends. The workers who make up the Caring Cans for Christ Ministry are a group of dedicated and tireless volunteers giving up sometimes multiple evenings in preparation for one of our quarterly food distributions. The desire of all that are involved with making this ministry possible is that it will continue to expand and reach many, many more in the name of Christ until He comes.
